10-DAY MUCHINGA YOUTH EMPOWERMENT TOUR CONCLUDES

The Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts has concluded its 10-day Muchinga Province empowerment tour, with Lavushimanda District being the final stop.
Over 1,500 young people have benefited from the empowerment initiatives rolled out during the tour. Beneficiaries received motorbike loans and grants, while all eight districts were each given 20 sets of football kits to promote sports development among the youth.
Speaking after handing over the grants in Lavushimanda this afternoon, Youth, Sport and Arts Minister Hon. Elvis C. Nkandu described the tour as a success.
He urged the beneficiaries to utilize the support responsibly and ensure timely repayment of the loans. The Minister emphasized that the empowerment programme was non-partisan and inclusive, noting that persons with disabilities were also catered for.
Hon. Nkandu further expressed gratitude to President Hakainde Hichilema for his continued commitment to uplifting young people across the country.
