A family of Chalala Hillview in Lusaka is in distress after their 15-year-old daughter, identified as Gladys Mwenya, mysteriously disappeared early this morning.
According to her mother, Gladys woke up around 05:00 hours to help her younger siblings prepare for school. However, moments later, the family realised that she was nowhere to be found.
A search was immediately conducted within the neighbourhood, but efforts to locate her proved futile.
The family has since reported the matter to Godfrey Miyanda Police Post and is now appealing to members of the public to help trace Gladys.
Concerned relatives are urging anyone who may have seen her or has any information regarding her whereabouts to contact them immediately.
