A 24-year-old man identified as Stanly Mulenga of Mkushi’s Katoli village has died after suffocating in a 13 meter well. His colleague survived.

The incident happened when the deceased got in a well to retrieve a chicken that fell in but he ran out of oxygen.

Mkushi Fire Brigade and rescue team rushed to the scene and retrieved the body.
