He said this will enable the graduates to firmly uphold discipline within cantonments as he urged them to adhere to the motto “explo ducemss,” which means ‘by example, we shall lead’.
Col Shantumbu underlined the Army’s expectations for the graduates to professionally execute their core duty of enforcing regulations, thereby maintaining order and discipline.
“The objective of the course was clear: to equip military policemen and women with administration, leadership, and management skills,” he said.
Col Shantumbu proudly stated that this objective has successfully been achieved by ensuring that the graduates are well-prepared for their roles.
Two students, Staff Sergeant Ndaba Ruwadzano from the 2 Infantry Brigade Provost Unit and Sgt Nkonde Stephen from the Army Headquarters Provost Unit, came out as the best female graduates and the best male graduates, respectively.
They stated that the course has transformed their perception of how to handle certain situations and that it has broadened their knowledge, and said that they are ready to apply the acquired skills to their duties.
To show gratitude, the graduates presented a desktop computer to the school.
The course that commenced on 24 August, 2023 attracted 36 students from different units across the country.
