BRITISH ENVOY OKAY WITH BOWMAN’S LONE PROTEST
British High Commissioner Nicholas Wooley to Zambia yesterday described the lone protest by opposition Kabushi Member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo as exercising his democratic rights of freedom without harassment.
Speaking to journalists in Lusaka yesterday, Mr Wooley said the protest was evidence of Zambia’s democracy and his freedom of expression.
The former Lusaka province minister had a lone protest outside a media house in Longacres in which he described Zambia’s democracy as under threat, further alleging that Speaker,
Nelly Mutti is impartial.
