Father Kenan Chibawe to be buried on Monday
The Diocese of Monze has issued a statement to advise it’s members that the remains of father Kenan Chibawe who died yesterday after mistakenly shooting himself will be put to rest on Monday.
A statement seen by I am Catholic Zambia news website shows that on Saturday 23 April funeral mass service will be held at Holy Cross Church in Namwala to be presided by Apostolic Administrator Very Rev. Fr. Francisco Airoldi. Thereafter the remains will be taken to Monze Mission Hospital.
While on Sunday 24 April the funeral church service will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral Church in Monze before the body is taken to his home village in Namwala in preparation for burial on Monday.
The Diocese has since called on all members to remain united in praying for the deceased family during this trying moment.
