A motorist has captured a lion at an unknown area along the Lusaka-Kafue Road not long ago.

The unknown motorist filmed the lone male walking on the tarmac before it camouflaged in tall grass.

Multiple shares have been made on social media to warn unsuspecting members of the public and it is not known where the lion came from.

Full grown males are known to wander alone or in a pair in search of a pride and great distances are often covered hence the sighting may likely be one that may have come from a national park if it’s not from Mundawanga animal sanctuary.

Diamond Media awaits a comment from the Department of Wildlife and National Parks on the sighting.
