Former Republican President, Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu deserves kudos for his infrastructural legacy, Advocates for National Democracy and Development executive director, Samuel Banda has said.
Mr Banda notes that failure to appreciate and honour the former president for his work, especially infrastructure development would be unfairly hypocritical.
He cited the newly-commissioned state of the art Mulungushi International Conference Centre as a marvel and a legacy under the Former president that every well-meaning stakeholder must appreciate.
“We expected that Mr Lungu would be part of the momentous occasion to commission such a huge project” Mr Banda said in a statement.
He says Zambians should start to appreciate the efforts of those that have diligently served without attaching a political face to everything.
“Let us learn not to criticize or vilify those that have served this country, but to honour them when they are still around to appreciate our gesture and honesty” Mr Banda said.
