A 17-year-old female mobile money agent, of Kamitondo township in Kitwe, has been abducted by known people, for allegedly owing her previous employer.
AGNESS TINDWA was abducted by her previous employer, who is demanding 20,000 Kwacha for her release.
AGNESS, on December 8, 2022, left home at around 08:30 hours, saying she was going for work but she never returned.
LOVENESS MWABA, the mother of the abducted woman, says on December 12, 2022, at around 06 hours the family received a phone call and the caller said he was in custody of Ms TINDWA before demanding for money.
Copperbelt Province Commanding Officer, PEACEWELL MWEEMBA has explained that AGNESS was allowed to speak to the mother, stating that she was being kept at an unknown place, but in Solwezi , North-Western Province.
