A 42-YEAR-OLD man of Chisamba has been mauled to death by two boerboels at a farm where he was doing some piecework.
The incident is alleged to have happened after the deceased returned from drinking at an unknown time.
Patrick Mulenga is believed to have gone to do some part time work as a bricklayer at the said farms where his brother is a farm manager and on Tuesday around 22:00 hours, he went out drinking and returned at an unknown time.
Central province police commissioner David Chileshe who confirmed the incident with Mwebantu said Mr Mulenga was discovered dead the next day by his brother who is the manager at Acacia farm.
“Mr Mulenga was attacked and killed by two boerboels at Acacia Farms. The deceased was doing some part time work as a bricklayer at Acacia farms.
However, on Tuesday, January 17 around 22:00 hours he went out on a drinking spree and returned at an unknown time. He was discovered dead yesterday, Wednesday January 18 at Acacia farm by the farm manager who is also the deceased’s brother. The farm is owned by Mr Victor Simusokwe aged 58 of Kalundu Township, Lusaka,” he said.
Mr Chileshe said investigations into the death of the deceased have been launched and the body of the deceased is in the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) awaiting postmortem.
