Southern Province United National Independence Party- UNIP Chairperson, Rodwell Nzoolo, has described Members of Parliament as leaders that survive on subsidies except for the money they give to side chicks.
Nzoolo’s sentiments posted in the Choma Central Constituency WhatsApp Group, Wednesday, were however received with mixed emotions from members, which propelled the area Member of Parliament, Cornelius Mweetwa to react.
Mweetwa, who appeared to have taken offense, counseled group members to desist from insulting and demeaning lawmakers who have families to protect and live a decent life outside politics.

He further stated that such sentiments are not only an insult to the lawmakers but to the President of the Republic of Zambia.
Nzoolo was however removed from the group with his partner in crime, Collins Kapata who attempted to withstand the storm.
And Choma Mayor Javen Simoloka, also requested to exit the group to prevent his children from witnessing the ridicule showered on him.
The Mayor’s request has however not been granted by the group members.
