HEALIT ZAMBIA, MORNINGSTAR CLINIC, TO HOST US CARDIOLOGISTS TO OFFER FREE CARDIAC SCREENING
Healit Zambia and Morningstar clinic, have partnered to host United States based cardiologists, to conduct free cardiac screening in Zambia next week.
The free screening will be held at Morningstar clinic in Ibex Hill, Lusaka, from 27th February to 3rd March 2023.
US based cardiologists led by Dr Sula Mazimba will conduct wide-ranging cardiac screening and examinations such as Electrocardiogram (ECG), Echocardiogram, stress tests and other blood tests, all meant to detect abnormal heart rhythms or other cardiac abnormalities.
The screening is open to the public, and those seeking a second opinion on Cardiac conditions Heart Failure, Heart Transplant, Heart Conditions, Cardiomyopathy, Pulmonary Hypertension Treatment, among others.

The tests will also check for cholesterol levels, high blood sugar levels, and other factors that increase the risk of heart diseases.
Healit Zambia and Morningstar prioritizes heart health and have encouraged people to get regular check-ups, especially those with high risk factors for heart disease such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, or a family history of heart disease.
The two health facilities have since emphasized that Cardiac screening can help identify potential heart problems early on, allowing for earlier treatment and improved outcomes.
