A young man of Lusaka was last week taught the old-age lesson that ‘hell is colder than the temper of a jealousy woman’ after his ex-wife pleaded with the court to send him to prison.

Thomas Chitika, 34 was dragged by his Zambia Revenue Authority identity card in his neck to the Lusaka Boma Court by the ex-wife after she heard that barely 60 days following their divorce, Chitika has already dried his tears, and even found another woman whom he is about to marry.
Atop of that, Chitika was also allegedly denying his fresh ex-wife access to their son as he seemingly was preparing the boy his new mother whom he had secured for him.

For these heart wrenching indiscretions, Christine asked the court to jail the mother of her kids for contempt of court as he was flouting the divorce agreement that she would have access to the son he was keeping and he would also have access to the daughter she was keeping.
However, for his part, Chitika told the court that the whole fiasco was because of the vulgar language of his ex-wife whom he said calling him importent despite him sending her twice on a date with the midwife. He added that the ex-wife also followed him everywhere with flimsy demands.
Noting that this was merely a case of ‘some broken hearts never mend’ as depicted by Don Williams, the court pacified the ex-couple, and urged them to handle matters of their children in a mature manner instead of seeking to send each other to jail.
