His Excellency Ambassador Chibamba Kanyama shared tips to the 2023 Mandela Washington Fellowship participants from Zambia after their six weeks training in the USA.
This was during a visit to the embassy by the 24 participant’scomprised of vibrate young men and women selected from all the 10 provinces of Zambia including where they shared their experiences in different universities while in the USA.
The discussion focused on areas amongst others.
1. Importance of exchange programs

The need for the organizes of the program to share their details of institutions where participants will be attached prior to their departure from Zambia so that during their six weeks in the us they could be linked to Zambians in the diaspora to enable them network and leverage knowledge on experience of fellow countrymen and women.
3. The importance of the embassy in liaison with foreign affairs to bring together the fellows for skills exchange and impacting on knowledge to communities based on what they learnt while in the USA.
4. the importance of ICT in national development.
