ACC drives away with Yo Maps’ Cru Cru
BARELY 24 hours after collecting three Ngoma Awards to add to his overspilling cabinet of accolades, popular musician, Yo Maps has lost his Land Cruiser VX to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
Officers from the commission drove away with the vehicle this afternoon.
On Monday, the ‘Somone’ singer appeared at the ACC offices over the vehicle whose photos he shared on social media some two months ago.
But apparently, the men and women from Kulima Tower Building were not convinced with the singer’s insistence of his ability to afford such an auto mobile.
According to sources from the ACC, the singer whose real name is Elton Mulenga was served with a seizure notice to allow the Commission inquire into the source of the big black car.
The Somone hit maker is alleged to have received the vehicle in question from a politically exposed person who is trying to conceal their tainted wealth.
The sources said investigation officers visited the biggest ‘mozician’s’ house in Lilayi area and grabbed the Toyota Land Cruiser VX from him.

Earlier in the day the singer went live on his Facebook page and sat in his upmarket car to brag about his success unaware of the ACC plans to cut his celebrations short.
Public relations officers from the Commission have been reluctant to respond to questions from the media.
