The Swedish Government has allocated over 200 million dollars to support Zambia actualize the development of a new cooperation strategy from 2024 to 2028.
Acting Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister MULAMBO HAIMBE says the program will create an environment that will draw mutual benefits for both countries.
Speaking during a meeting with a delegation from Sweden, Mr. HAIMBE said the country has a suitable environment for investment.
Speaking at the same event, Sweden Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Minister JOHAN FORSELL said the country has immense potential in the mining sector, energy and SMEs.
Mr. FORSELL added that there is a need for more Zambian private companies to invest in Swedish companies in order to foster development in the two countries.
