A Man of Choma’s New Kabanana compound has earned himself a name on the wanted list of police after he attempted to sexually assault a bar lady that he failed to pay money for the botles of alcohol he gulped.

Last Wednesday, Benjamin Mwansa, gathered his broke self and empty pockets to enjoy some free beers at Mabjoe complex.

Like a fully packed buyer, Mwansa would only use his fingures to order for more bottles, as the bar lady, Tamic Sikombe, 19 of Riverside area, fulfilled his demands by filling both his table and stomach to capacity.

After being drunk and satisfied, Mwansa’s time to pay came but that he portrayed a behavior like that of thief attempting to stage a robbery with an unloaded pistol as he stood to shake his empty pockets with surprise.

However, Mwansa requested that Sikombe accompanied him into town with a view of going to withdraw money at the bank, and knowing she couldn’t risk making a shortage, she followed him.

There, Mwansa told her another mouse-swallowed-an-elephant story after he informed her that he had infact left his ATM card at home, were he asked her to follow him to collect it.

Unknown to Sikombe, he was taking her to his arranged venue were he would turn her into an ATM card instead.

Southern Province Police Commanding Officer, Auxensio Daka who confirmed the incident said that when bar lady and Mwansa reached the house, she asked him if she could use the convenience room, which he allowed her to.

But when she left the toilet, Mwansa started demanding for sexual intercourse and when she refused, he resorted to sexually assaulting her by way of touching her private parts by force until she flee and reported the matter to Choma Central Police Station.

“In the process she sustained bruises on both arms and swollen back. Police issued her with a medical report form which is consistent with the allegations. The suspect is yet to be arrested as police are still investigating the matter,” said Daka.
