A woman from Lusaka’s Garden Chilulu area, Margaret Maimbo, has been left with injuries after a brutal assault by her husband, identified as Ronald Chirwa.

Mrs. Chirwa, who has been married for less than a month, endured the horrifying attack during a late-night marital dispute.

The assault left her face swollen and her body covered in bruises.

Speaking to Diamond News, she described the ordeal as a savage beating and has called for her husband’s arrest.
