The Democratic Union (DU) is proud to announce its official launch, scheduled for 4th December 2024, at the Urban Hotel in Lusaka. This historic moment marks the birth of not just a new political party but a transformative movement committed to delivering real, lasting change for Zambia.
Zambia deserves leaders who embody integrity, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of every citizen. The Democratic Union answers this call, representing all Zambians — from the youth yearning for their voices to be heard, to women working tirelessly for a brighter future, to civil servants and domestic workers aspiring for a fairer and more secure nation. Together, we are building a New Zambia.
The current political landscape has failed to meet the aspirations of our people. The time has come to replace outdated, self-serving politics with leadership that places the needs of the Zambian people first. The Democratic Union stands as a beacon of hope, ready to foster progress, unity, and prosperity for all.
