Tokota gang leader sentenced and sent to Katombora

17 year old Tokota Gang Leader popularly Known as Mayweather has been sentenced and sent to Katombora Reformatory School after being found guilty of abduction, causing bodily harm and other related offences.
Mayweather, whose full names are withheld committed the offences on April 30th, 2018.

Facts before the court revealed that the convict, acting together with other persons, unlawfully abducted a fellow juvenile and subjected him to inhumane treatment, including physical assault, forcing him to eat his own faecal matter, and inflicting bodily harm.

When the matter came up for sentencing before Kitwe High Court Justice Enias Chulu, the court ordered that Mayweather be sent to Katombora Reformatory School for rehabilitation and reformation, with the aim of enabling him to reform and become a responsible member of society.

In passing sentence, the court observed that neither the convicted juvenile nor his family seemed to have rendered an apology to the victim, despite the barbaric and degrading nature of the offences committed.
