UPND Chilanga Council Chairperson aspiring candidate Chinoya Bernard Tungenengene Jr has urged people to take part in the voter inspection exercise, which began on 2nd March and ends on 8th March 2026.
He noted that the process is important for confirming voter details and avoiding problems on polling day.
Tungenengene encouraged residents to use the opportunity to transfer polling stations if necessary.
He pointed out that the inspection also allows for the replacement of lost or damaged voter’s cards.
He stressed that strong participation will help ensure transparency and accountability in the electoral process.
Tungenengene, the current Kasupe Ward Councillor, underlined that the exercise is vital for empowering the people of Chilanga.
He was speaking after inspecting and verifying his own details in Chilanga today.
