Stakeholders have paid special tribute to aspiring candidate for Monze Town Council Chairperson Francis Ngolwe for his swift and well-coordinated response in mobilising support for 659 flood victims in Hamangaba Ward.
Kaambwa Headman, Oscar Moomba, commended Ngolwe for working closely with the corporate sector to secure vital relief items, including hundreds of bags of mealie meal and cooking oil for the affected families.
The Headman further revealed that Ngolwe engaged the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit (DMMU), whose timely intervention greatly supported the flood response efforts.
Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries, Judith Hanangala, expressed confidence in Ngolwe’s leadership, noting that his demonstrated duty of care is a clear indication of his ability to serve effectively in a higher office.
