2026 presidential aspirant, Makebi Zulu, says he remains president of the PF Padmozi Alliance.

He has urged the public not to be distracted by whatever is going on as these such manoeuvres are by desperate people who want to flourish where there’s confusion.

Zulu has asked his supporters to remain calm and steadfast as the country heads towards the August 2026 general election.

He states that to strengthen the Padmodzi Alliance, one of the longest serving members of party, Mumbi Phiri, has been appointed as the new deputy secretary general in charge of politics.

On 7th April, 2026, Miles Sampa dissolved the party’s central committee and all provincial chairpersons, replacing them with new appointments.

Among those appointed is Edwin Lifwekelo, who takes up the position of secretary general for politics.

Sampa has also maintained that Given Lubinda remains chairman of the Pamodzi Alliance.
