Solwezi has today for a second time taken headlines in more than four leading newspapers in the country.
In preparation for teachers’ day, today a teacher from the social sciences, the department is known for producing over social teachers, has gone viral after proposing marriage to his former grade 12 pupil that came to wish her former teachers a wonderful teachers day in advance.
People have called him names after the picture of him kneeling before the learner got to different parents.
Some of the parents have since vowed to Sue him on grounds that the named teacher possibly might have had sexual relations with the child before she wrote her grade 12 exams.
The man has been identified as Dominic Kaoma, a 33-year-old luvale man. After being questioned by media houses, he stood his stance saying swabbing has no limit…
“Ask my colleagues at work, I neng’i,” he said to one media house in Solwezi.
The name of the girl has been withheld for security reasons, however rumors spreading are that the girl is at Solwezi school of nursing pursuing her studies. Meanwhile, Dominic is yet to appear in court slapped with s.e.xual harassment and having unlawful relations with a child.
