YOUTH INDABA PARTICIPANTS STRANDED IN LUSAKA
A crisis is looming in Lusaka with over 600 youths who came from various districts of Zambia stranded at government complex and various lodges.
Reports are also coming indicating that various lodges in Lusaka where youth indaba participants have been lodging have kicked them out of the rooms without giving them breakfast due to non-payment from the ministry of youths and sport.
Meanwhile a few youths who managed to get transport refunds using ‘connections’ have complained of massive underpayments and say they regret coming for the Indaba.
The youths say efforts to get help from the Ministry of Youth and sports have proved futile as responsible officials are not picking up calls.
