A street kid believed to be three months pregnant has died on the spot after two speeding vehicles ran over her on Lusaka’s Lumumba Road.
This incident happened last night near City Market Bus Station.
A ZNBC news crew that was on the scene reports that the deceased’s friends, identified her as MARY believed to be 17 years old of Kitwe, Copperbelt Province.
One of the street adults SYLVESTER BANDA says the deceased was first hit by a Toyota Allion before a Hiace Mini Bus finished her off.
And another street kid JESSICA PHIRI said the deceased was three months pregnant at the time of her death.
Meanwhile, several Street kids wept uncontrollably as the body of their friend laid lifeless in a pool of blood on the road.
Others blocked the road disturbing traffic as a way of showing their displeasure over the death of Mary.
But Police Officers who visited the scene controlled the situation and picked up the body.
