Christian Pastors from various denominations have pledged to work with Lawyer Dickson Jere and endorsed him for Lusaka Central seat.
The Pastors said they have followed the work of Jere since his time as a journalist and have been pleased with his commitment to public service.
The Pastors under the auspices of the Twinpalm Fellowship made the remarks when they held a meeting with Jere in Bauleni compound of Lusaka Central.
The Pastors, however, cautioned Jere to be present in the constituency saying they feel betrayed when MPs disappear after elections.
The Fellowship brings together Pastors within Lusaka Central area of Bauleni.
Several people have called on Jere to consider standing as MP for Lusaka Central given his track record.
Former Ministers, ex-Ambassadors, student leaders and Clergy have all endorsed Jere in recent months.
