BULIMI BUKALI CEREMONY DATES ANNOUNCED

The Bulimi Bukali traditional ceremony of the Luano people of Chief Mboshya in Luano District of Central Province has been set for 8 August 2026.

This year’s ceremony will be held at Mboshya Palace, Luano District in Central Province.

Chairperson for Bulimi Bukali Traditional Ceremony, Dominic Mutolwa, has called on the corporate world and well-wishers to come on board and support the successful hosting of the traditional ceremony.

He said that preparations for the prestigious cultural event have commenced.

The ceremony celebrates the harvest season, expressing gratitude to ancestors and God for blessing and protection.

The event attracts hundreds of people including local communities, tourists, and government officials.

Bulimi Bukali traditional ceremony exhibits traditions of the Luano people, featuring traditional attire, culture, and spiritual observances.
