ST AUGUSTINE Major Seminary formatter and lecturer Hilary Ndeke has urged women in the Catholic Church to exercise caution in the manner they dress.

Fr Ndeke says the dressing of a Christian should be within the realm of prudence, which is an important trait for people in the church.

He said this on Saturday at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus after the blousing of eight new members of the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) and marking of the end of the retreat of Nazareth Lay Organisation.

“There are people who are moving around [and] I see these people who are ‘almost dressed’.

Someone looks like she is almost dressed but she is not dressed,” Fr Ndeke said.

He said even when members of CWL and Nazareth Lay Organisation are not in their church uniforms, they should pay particular attention on how they present themselves.
