The Lusaka Magistrate’s Court has been informed that journalist Chichi Daisy Lusumpa intends to withdraw her lawsuit against Mutale Mwanza.
Lusumpa had sued fellow media personality Mutale Mwanza for harassment over alleged unprintable language published on M Nation’s Facebook page. Ms Mwanza faces one count of harassment contrary to section 69 of the Cybercrimes Act of 2025.
This morning, magistrate Mbuvuyana Sinvula heard that the state received a letter from Ms Lusumpa requesting withdrawal of the case from the Director of Public Prosecution DPP, but lacked instructions to proceed.
The matter has been adjourned to April 13th for possible application.
