Chiinda bemoans poor CDF – funded roads in Munali

Resolute Party parliamentary candidate for Munali, Chrispin Chiinda, says he has intensified campaigning in Mtendere and is prioritizing the repair of poor road infrastructure funded under the Constituency Development Fund.

Addressing supporters in Mtendere A section, his birthplace, Chiinda urged residents to back a local candidate who understands the constituency’s challenges. He said voters should choose “their own true son of Munali” rather than candidates with no connection to the area.

Chiinda criticized the condition of CDF-funded roads in Munali. He cited the road from PHI Niza Road to Mtendere East, saying it is in a poor state where vehicles struggle to pass each other, which he described as a waste of government funds. He also said the Hybrid Gate to Kamanga road is nearly impassable.

“As a true son of Munali, together with my team, I will endeavor to do the best for the people by lobbying for development that serves the people and leaves a lasting legacy,” Chiinda said.

He was joined at the meeting by Tonse Pamodzi Alliance Director of Elections Bupe Banda, Mtendere ward and Munali constituency officials, Mtendere ward aspiring councillor Watson Chipembele Mtonga, Kabwata constituency chairlady and youth chair, and aspiring mayor Gabriel Kibombwe.

Chiinda is contesting the Munali parliamentary seat on the Resolute Party ticket under the Tonse Pamodzi Alliance.
