Munali parliamentary hopeful, Chrispin Chiinda says he would introduce a voluntary community service initiative that aims to engage residents of Munali to participate in the development of the constituency.
Chiiinda explains that participants in the month-long voluntary community service program will be required to dedicate a few hours each day in what he describes as a noble cause.
He says volunteers will receive some form of acknowledgement from the office of the MP in recognition of their efforts towards creating a better constituency.
“We firmly believe that voluntary community work will play a pivotal role in transforming the face of Munali Constituency,” he stated.
Chiinda added; “As leaders, we will set the tone for this initiative and inspire others to follow suit. Our ultimate goal is to instill a culture of volunteerism, making it an integral part of our daily lives”.
Chiiinda has since called on members of the community in Munali to join his team in their transformative journey of Munali constituency, saying the August 13th general elections presents the people an opportunity to vote for change.
