CHIPATA COMMUNITIES HAIL MOSES MOYO OVER MAKWE SCHOOL PROJECT

Communities in Chipata have paid tribute to Moses Moyo for constructing Makwe school.

Moyo who is outgoing Deputy Speaker, served five years as an independent MP and is now recontesting the Luangeni seat on the UPND ticket.

One resident of Makwe area, Joseph Mushanga, explained that funding began with Moyo personally, later supplemented by the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

Residents also thanked President Hakainde Hichilema for listening to Moyo’s appeal and supporting the project.

The facility will offer education up to Grade 12.

Lotani Mbewe expressed the community’s excitement about this development.

Mbewe also pointed to a newly installed mobile phone network tower as proof of real progress.

He said children from Magodi, Kachikoti, Wanga, Kampala, Magunda, Kwacha, Kalaye, Yonke, and Mshawa will benefit.

Maureen Chirwa stated that families are thrilled their children no longer travel far for school.

She added that learners can now rest more and study within the community.
