CHOMBA NAMES 15 GOLDEN GIRLS FOR WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS
Zambia National Hockey Women’s Team coach Floyd Chomba has named a cracker 15 member squad ahead of 2024 Hockey 5s Qualifiers slated for Egypt in December this year.
Coach Floyd Chomba has returned relatively all the players he traveled with for the Africa Cup of Nations which was held in Ghana earlier this year but has summoned Chengelo Chungu a pupil at Martin House who impressed for Team Zambia at Hockey Schools tournament which was held in Zimbabwe in August this year.
The Team whose home ground is OYDC Zambia and is commonly referred to as the ’Golden Girls’ will look to secure qualification for the World showpiece by ensuring they finish among the top two at the tournament.
The qualifiers will be held from 10-15 December 2022 in Egypt with only the finalists qualifying for the 2024 Oman World Cup.
