COURT SEPARATES BOYFRIEND AFTER 7 YEARS COHABITING
A 55-year-old Businesswoman of Shampande B in Choma took to the District Local Court to get a Restraining Order against her 58-year-old boyfriend after seven years of the couple cohabiting.
Appearing before Magistrates Stanley Hankanga and Martin Siame was Judith Bwembya who dragged Gibson Muyala to Court on grounds that she is tired of his unacceptable behavior of shifting to his mother’s house when they differ.
Bwembya added that Muyala uses expletives on her when they have a disagreement, embarrassing her in the presence of other people, hence wanting nothing to do with him as she believes he cannot reform.
In his defense, Muyala told the Court that the problem between the couple ensued when he found a man in the bedroom they shared with a woman, resulting in a fight.
He explained that the said man begun to get close to his woman in the name of purchasing alcohol, a business they undertook and wanted to sit inside the house, which was not the case with other customers.
The Court issued a Restraining Order to the plaintiff against Muyala, directing the defendant to get his belongings out of the house which they rented together by Wednesday this week.
