A dead body from Ndola has been illegally exhumed by unknown people at Kawama Cementary.

Ndola City Council Public Relations Manager Rebecca Mushota, has disclosed in a statement that the grave for Francis M Kabwe was found open and coffin and body missing.

Mushota says council workers discovered this on Friday.

“Francis M Kabwe was born in 1953 and was buried on August 2,2012. The council has engaged Chifubu Police Station and investigations are on-going” the statement read.

She has since urged family members to contact the council so that they can be briefed.
