eDoc Health Care Services, has stepped in to offer free physiotherapy services to actress, Phenny Walubita, popularly known as Dainess Kabanana from the comfort of her home, after she suffered a stroke recently.
eDoc health care services, provides homebased care for cerebral palsy and other conditions that inhibit mobility, like stroke.
The health facility endeavours to bridge the gap between hospital and community healthcare of patients by providing nursing services,palliative care, physiotherapy, telemedicine, chronic disease management, and mother and child care.
Dainess who reached out for help on social media, was visited by eDoc who offered to conduct home based physiotherapy sessions.

eDoc CEO, Dr Andy Mtambo said the decision to offer Dainess free physiotherapy stems from the fact that every human being, deserves dignity and quality health care.
Dr Mtambo observed that the biggest need for Dainess right now, is physiotherapy to enhace her quick recovery so that she can quickly go back to acting which she loves the most.
“In times such as these, it is our responsibility to reach out to her and provide the necessary support and care. As you know, Dainess has offered a lot to the film industry and to communities through her work” Dr Mtambo said.
He therefore encouraged the actress to be strong, and also wished her a quick recovery so that she continues adding value to the country’s entertainment industry.
He said eDoc is happy to be associated with bettering the lives of people in need of medical care but are unable to, for various reasons such as physical immobility, logistical inability among others.
