Regular Great East Road Road Evans Kazonga Ng’oma has appealed to the Road Development Agency (RDA) to quickly work on the deadly pothole around Rufunsa district.

The road crater approximately 1.8 kilometers before Mpasha Turn off (St Luke’s Hospital), on the Great East Road in Rufunsa District where Manenekela Starts from.

Ambassador Ng’oma who is also BuyZed campaign founder says the pothole has caused significant damage to vehicles and poses a major safety risk to road users.

“I, along with three other motorists, last evening fell victim to this pot hole, resulting in damaged tires and rims. The damage is extensive, and it’s only a matter of time before more motorists suffer the same fate,” he explained.

Ambassador Ng’oma has therefore urged the RDA to consider fixing the pot hole as a matter of urgency to prevent further damage and potential accidents.

“The location is easily identifiable, and I implore the agency to send a team to assess and repair the damage. I would appreciate it if this appeal could be expedited, considering the severity of the issue,” he added.
