The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has appointed Machacha Shapande as its new General Secretary.
Shapande a veteran sports administrator brings a wealth of experience, having previously served as FAZ General Secretary and National Sports Council of Zambia General Secretary.
Shapande replaces Ruben Kamanga and is expected to play a key role in the administration of football in Zambia under the leadership of the Keith Mweemba-led executive committe.
His appointment signals the beginning of the crack down on management of football affairs at Football House.
