FLB ADVOCATES VOTER DETAIL CONFIRMATION
Malambo Independent Aspiring Member of Parliament Faith Lungu Bury (FLB) has urged electors to take verification of their voter details seriously ahead of this year’s general elections.
In a statement, Bury commended authorities at Mambwe Town Council for deploying 30 Voter Education Facilitators (VEFs) across all 15 wards in the district to help inform communities about voting rights.
She noted that the facilitators will also assist in the forthcoming Inspection of the Provisional Register of Voters, which is scheduled to commence on 2nd March 2026.
Bury encouraged members of the public to verify their voter details by visiting the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) website at ovr.elections.org.zm or by dialling the USSD short code \*214# available on all networks.
She emphasised that the electoral process is dynamic, making it important for voters to take interest in every stage to avoid last‑minute surprises.
Bury further stated that Zambia is a democracy, and citizens should exercise their right to vote for a candidate of their choice in August this year.
