Malambo Independent Aspiring Member of Parliament Faith Lungu Bury (FLB) says the current Youth Week must help youths in Zambia and Malambo in particular to rediscover themselves.

Bury urged the Government to step up its efforts in creating more opportunities and support systems for young people.

She stressed that the state must prioritise youth empowerment as a cornerstone of national development.

Bury further encouraged youths to take advantage of existing empowerment programmes to grow themselves.

She explained that these programmes are designed to equip young people with skills, knowledge, and resources for self‑reliance.

Bury emphasised that rediscovery is not only about identity but also about practical action towards progress.

She highlighted that the creativity and energy of the youth must be harnessed for both local and national transformation.

Bury noted that she will work closely with the development sector, including NGOs, to help youths access opportunities.

She added that partnerships with civil society will strengthen the impact of empowerment initiatives in Malambo.

Bury expressed confidence that Youth Week will inspire young people to rise, rediscover themselves, and actively shape Zambia’s future.
