Government has revealed that Sixth republican President Edgar Lungu who has been in South Africa recieving medical treatment, has been undergoing Chemotherapy.
And, the state has revealed that it was taking care of late Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) leader Edith Nawakwi, even prior to her evacuation to South Africa.
Meanwhile, government has refuted claims that it is blocking convicted former defense minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM) from leaving the country to seek specialist health treatment, but that some health facilities in South Africa have placed conditions due to his status of being an inmate.
Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kwana, made the revelations when he addressed matters arising, during a press briefing held this afternoon.
