FORMER DEFENCE MINISTER GEORGE MPOMBO DIES AT 70.

FORMER Defence Minister George Mpombo has died at the age of 70.

Mr Mpombo passed away yesterday at Ndola Teaching Hospital, where he had been admitted for two days.

His family has confirmed his death.
