Beauty princess Gloria Kaipi emerged Victorias in the Miss Munali beauty pageant held at Chris Mall Lodges over the weekend.
Kaipi beat other 11 models that were competing for the same crown in a tightly contested pageant.
However, he modeling moves were enough to satisfy the judges who declared her winner and crowned her Miss Munali 2025.
Host Chrispin Chiinda who graced the event said the pageant was aimed at advocating against teenage pregnancy and early marriages in communities around Munali constituency.
“The aim is to prepare the minds of young people, to prioritize their achievements in education before indulging in illicit activities that can destroy their lives,” Chiinda said.
Chiinda who is Munali constituency parliamentery candidate for next year’s elections stated that a lot of youths were engaging in sexual activities due to among others, economic hardships and lack of employment opportunities.
“Some of them simply lack information about the dangers of indulging in such activities, hence coming up with this pageant as an initiative which can be used to spread message against teenage pregnancy and early marriages in Munali constituency,” he added.
