CLERICS in the country have been challenged to regulate themselves and help stop the increasing number of false prophets who subject their followers to despicable acts.
Director of religious affairs in the Office of the Vice-President Sunday Mwape said Government is worried about the increase in the number of false prophets who are using God’s name to mislead followers.
Dr Mwape said there is need for the clergy to be united and regulate themselves to stop the mushrooming of false prophets, who are using ‘healing’ sessions as an excuse to engage in ungodly activities.
“You need to be united and curb the increase in pastors who are subjecting their followers to do unthinkable things.
