Government mourns the late music producer Chali “Bravo” Mulalami, describing his death as a significant loss to Zambia’s creative industry.

In a press statement issued by the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts through Principal Public Relations Officer Nchimunya Bobby Ng’andu, Government conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, the Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM), and the wider creative sector following the passing of the renowned producer and founder of Slingbeats Entertainment .

Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts Hon. Elvis C. Nkandu, MP, said the country has lost an exceptional talent who played a pivotal role in shaping and professionalising Zambia’s music industry over the past two decades. He noted that many of the nation’s celebrated songs and artistes carry the unmistakable mark of Chali Bravo’s creativity and production expertise .

The late producer worked with top artistes such as K’Millian, Mampi, General Ozzy and Roberto, contributing to some of the most memorable hits in modern Zambian music.

Government described his passing as a profound loss and stated that his legacy will continue to inspire generations of musicians and creatives across the country.
