Healit Zambia, a medical laboratory that offers comprehensive range of medical services, will hold a health centred family fun fair day, were children and parents will have an opportunity to access wide ranging medical advise , spiced with fun and entertainment.
The event which will be held on Saturday 9th December at 6 Lubu Road, Rhodes Park, aims to promote healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices through information sharing that encourages children to also live an active life through participation in academic and extracurricular activities.
Qualified medical practitioners from the fields of urology, dermatology, gyneacology and paediatrics, among others, will be at hand to offer free consultation and expert guidance to attendees in order for them to make sound life decisions.
Healit Zambia head of sales and marketing, Mr Justin Mponda, has since called on stakeholders to come on board and support such life changing programmes that promote heathy living.
Mr Mponda has disclosed that the event will also feature various high level personalities to speak about topical issues that centre on life and wellness.
He further said Healit Zambia stands ready to support and supplement government’s efforts of enhancing human development through provision of quality health care services.
He said the fun fair is just one of the many initiatives that the health facility has encoporated in its scope of health promotion through family participation.
