HH best President ever – Muchindu

…as he vows to transform Choma mining sector

Choma parliamentary hopeful, Joe Muchindu has described President Hakainde Hichilema as one of the best Presidents in the world.

And Muchindu has emphasized the need to transform mining activities in Choma district to benefit locals.

Addressing UPND Namuswa ward officials, Muchindu expressed disappointment that residents are working as guards in local mines while foreigners reap huge benefits.

Muchindu pledged to revisit mining agreements to ensure a win-win situation for the community once elected member of parliament in the 2026 elections.

Muchindu also highlighted the poor state of roads in the area, despite mining activities, and vowed to address this issue.

“This issue where your children and other members of the community work as guards in your own mines here is not right. I feel we need to revisit agreements with those running our mines so that we can have a win-win situation,” Muchindu added.

Meanwhile, Muchindu who, addressed other party officials in Musuku ward has asked the people of Choma to give President Hichilema another term so that he can continue with his development agenda for the country.

The aspiring lawmaker said President Hichilema has since taking over in 2021, transformed the nation.

He cited increased CDF – Constituency Development Fund, recent bumper harvests recorded that has reduced mealie meal prices as some examples worth giving HH the praise.

Muchindu warned that not voting for HH would be catastrophic. He further described HH as the best person leading Zambia.

Meanwhile, Muchindu also appealed to party officials in Masuku to embrace change, saying Choma needed a new MP to drive it’s development.

Muchindu is currently visiting wards in Choma for mobilization purposes – pending declaration of Choma South as new constituency in the ongoing delimitation exercise by the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ).

The ECZ launched a countrywide stakeholder delimitation engagements on Monday.

Muchindu expressed interest to run for the seat once confirmed.
