The Lusaka High Court has dismissed the case in which fugitive Petauke central Member of Parliament EMMANUEL BANDA sued the state seeking among other reliefs, damages for his alleged abduction.
The matter has been dismissed for want of prosecution.
Justice MWAPE BOWA ruled that since the matter was restored, there has never been any attendance by all the parties involved.
The matter has been dismissed with costs on Mr. BANDA.
The Court had initially set October 1, this year as date for hearing the matter, but none of the parties showed up at Court.
Mr BANDA, had sued Political Advisor to the President LEVY NGOMA, State House Communication Specialist CLAYSON HAMASAKA, UPND North Western Chairperson TREVOR MWIINDE and Attorney General , MULILO KABESHA.
