HUBBY REFUSES TO RECONCILE WITH WIFE
A 45-year-old businessman of Choma’s Zambia Compound has shut any hopes of reconciling with his 40-year-old wife after the Choma Local Court could not help resolve their challenges.
Doubt Mwiinga told Magistrate Stanley Hankanga, that he is tired of his wife, Peggy Muzyamba, dragging him to various Police Stations and Community Leaders without a lasting solution to their marital disputes.
Mwiinga told the Court that Police Stations in the district have reached an extent of chasing the couple whenever they go there owing to numerous complaints of marital disputes between them.
He stated that the wife does not show any respect and publicly embarrasses him, an indication that the marriage cannot survive.
And his wife, Muzyamba, who had taken the issue to Court to seek reconciliation, indicated that she is tired of being incarcerated frequently over the marital fights.
She stated that her husband has had her arrested six times over marital disputes.
The court advised that the couple are free to file for divorce should they further fail to reconcile, ordering that their four children continue being taken care of.
